Workshare Protect Premium ensures no document sent beyond your walls exposes sensitive data, no matter what file type or application you use. Working both online and offline, Protect Premium is a rules-driven program that installs on your PC (a network gateway appliance is also available for added monitoring and protection), and examines your content no matter what state it is in or where it is going. Through a host of proprietary and specialized technologies, Protect Premium looks inside your files at rest and ranks your content's risk level through fully administered settings. Concerns such as a string of digits similar to a social security number (xxx-xx-xxxx) will be recognized along with other regular expressions, or you may establish unique settings, specific to your account numbers, intellectual property or anything you consider confidential. You can also set up "safe recipients" or email routing to complement your workflow. Stop employees from sharing the wrong data with outsiders; Stop children from sharing personal information with unsafe recipients. No matter where your data is found, in a hidden column in an Excel spreadsheet, a nested table in Word, or metadata on an image file, Protect Premium will find it and apply rules as to whether or not the data may be shared, and with whom. When your content is in motion, Protect Premium flags high-risk data at the email, USB, printer and removable device access points. Upon alert, it gives you the option of on-the-fly removal of the sensitive content, conversion of any file into PDF, and encryption for added security. You can fully administer your settings to be transparent or run in the background. The features of Protect Premium include full disk encryption, removable media security, Blackberry data protection, email encryption, scheduled e-discovery, incident workflow, automated rights management, content fingerprints, and alert/audit/report across all protocols and channels.
