Now, Scalable has significantly overhauled WinINSTALL LE and released a new, FREE MSI Builder called Scalable Smart Packager CE. Featuring Windows 7 and Windows 8, App-V, ISO 19770-2 Software Tagging and an easy-to-use User Interface, many new and exciting enhancements have been added to bring free MSI package building right up to date.
A true starter edition tool, the Smart Packager Community Edition contains 3 key tools: a legacy Repackager, workflow, and package editing.
For customers who require more than basic functionality, Scalable's Smart Packager Pro includes functionality to package Windows Installer Setups and hand-off packages to popular deployment systems such as WinINSTALL LMS, Microsoft SCCM, Novell ZENworks and LANDesk Management Suite.
