NearNote 1.0.5

NearNote is an offline-first notes app with location-based reminders, rich media, folders, and timeline organization.

Superpower of NearNote:
You make a trip for Reason A (your main plan), and NearNote alerts you about an unrelated Task B that happens to be right next to where you are—saving you a dedicated trip later!

Here are relatable daily life examples where your primary reason for visiting has nothing to do with the note:

1. Dropping Kids at School / Soccer Practice
Why you are there: Dropping off or picking up your kid at school or sports practice.
The NearNote alert: "Drop off outdated prescription meds at the civic pharmacy disposal bin across the street."
The "Aha!" moment: You didn't make a special trip to dispose of old medicines, but since you're waiting 10 minutes in the car during pickup right across from that clinic, you get it done immediately.

2. Going to a Restaurant / Cafe for Dinner with Friends
Why you are there: Having Friday night dinner or coffee at a downtown restaurant.
The NearNote alert: "Return borrowed library book / drop off book in the 24/7 library drop box around the corner."
The "Aha!" moment: The book has been in your car/backpack for two weeks because you never found time for a "library trip." Because dinner was in the same block, the drop-box alert lets you return it on your 2-minute walk back to the car.

3. Going to the Cinema / Mall for a Movie
Why you are there: Watching a weekend movie at the shopping complex.
The NearNote alert: "Get watch battery replaced at the kiosk in the lobby" OR "Pick up tailored trousers from the 1st-floor tailor."
The "Aha!" moment: You wouldn't drive all the way to the mall just to change a $5 watch battery or collect one pair of pants. Since the cinema is in that exact building, you drop it off before the movie starts and pick it up right after.

Key Features:
• Location-Based & Exact Reminders: Set geofence alerts that notify you when you arrive at a place, plus scheduled alarms for timely tasks.
• Folder Organization: Group notes into custom folders (Errands, Personal, Work) with quick filtering right from the bottom bar.
• Rich Media Attachments: Attach photos of notes, presentation slides, sketches, and documents directly to your entries.

Privacy & Network:
NearNote is an offline-first app with zero tracking, analytics, or ads. Searching for a place in the location reminder picker uses OpenStreetMap Nominatim online to look up coordinates.
