AKS Word Count 1.0

Count words, lines, paragraphs, chars in files of different types, including PDF, Word, Excel, HTML, OpenOffice, RTF. The software can also count words in the whole folders.

When all necessary files are added, the program automatically makes counting. Full information is kept in File info panel. It gives the possibility to learn such file details: chars with spaces, chars without spaces, words, lines and paragraphs.

This is very comfortable as different translators and copyrighters have various rates and systems for counting: some of them charge their customers per word, some count lines etc. This information can be copied out to a clipboard and then pasted into the translation report, e-mail, an invoice or any other reporting document.

Previewing files is a very useful feature of AKS Word Count. At times translators or copyrighters wish to make word count only in certain files kept in the folder. It is not very comfortable by hand open each file to convince that this is exactly the document you have been searching for. With AKS Word Count you can preview files by clicking on the file name in the main program window. Files are previewed in the bottom of the program interface. This feature for certain saves time when freelancers have deal with great sets of information.
Settings menu suggests advanced features, such as active convertser, additional file extensions, words or numbers to be slighted; update wordcount once new files are added etc. AKS Word Count can transform most popular file extensions such as pdf, word and excel documents, PowerPoint slides, HTML pages, open office files, rtf docs. It gives possibility to add file extensions (for example, csv, pas and others).
