We have developed Updater G to provide a simple yet effective method for updating your application(s), media or other content via the web.
When you complete the process of creating an ?updater? (executable file) through Updater G, initially it generates two text files. Upload one of the text files to your updates server and you are all set! You can ship the Updater G?s executable file and the configuration text file along with your application and your users (clients seeking the update) will be able to update the application easily. Following are few scenarios which might help you to visualize this updater-client relation:
? You want to share your latest photographic, video or audio experience with your family or friends quickly and privately i.e. avoiding public user content websites like YouTube, FlickR, Google Video etc.
? You have some work related confidential documents, source code or presentation files that you need to allow a client, development team or your boss access to while you are not guaranteed to be around.
