Supporting over a hundred different types of files, QA File Fix can reliably recover most office documents in Word, Excel, RTF, PDF and other formats, compressed archives such as ZIP and RAR, audio and video files, pictures and RAW files produced by digital SLR cameras. The innovative recovery technology can reliably locate and recover files in supported formats even if the file system is corrupted or completely non-existent, or if the hard drive is badly damaged.

The recovery works by matching information from the file system, if any, against data gathered from scanning and analyzing the entire surface of the hard drive.
