About Kryfo
A private messenger. No phone number, no email, no account. You are a key
pair generated on your device. On the default route, nobody, including us,
can tie your chats to a real identity, and no one can look you up unless
you claim a public handle.
By default everything travels over Tor. Content is end to end encrypted with
the Signal protocol. Messages travel through relays, sealed so no relay can
read them, and on the default route the relays never learn your IP address
or who you are. No address book upload, ever.

The Tor status holds through a short drop. • Automatic bridges were tested in heavily censored countries. • Swipe to reply keeps your place in the chat. • Bitcoin donations: an invoice stays open for an hour, and the first try no longer fails on a slow connection. • Backups: the save window opens in your download folder, Kryfo says where the backup went, and says so when there is no room. • Videos play upright and at their own shape. • The photo tool shows what a photo reveals and removes it in one step. • "Through a helper app" is always shown in Getting messages, with a line on why it waits. • Photos with a caption have slightly less rounded corners. • The texts about screenshot blocking say plainly what it can't stop. • Unsending a message says it leaves both phones, unless it was already saved. Fixed • On some phones the fingerprint could not be turned back on after an update. • Yellow lines under the time in the video and photo viewers. • The connection page no longer bounces when you scroll to the end. • "Copy address" and "Pay by card" fit at large text sizes. • When the phone stops Kryfo in the background, the connection page says so instead of "stopped by you".
