The simple repair is normal repair option of the software, which is available for both .doc and .docx files.The ?Advance Repair? option is for severely corrupt Word document files or you can use this option for the files which are not repaired through ?Simple Repair? option of the software. The Advance Repair option of the software is available for .doc files only and is not for .docx files. The ?Raw Recovery? option is for heavily corrupt Word files. Since, the severely corrupt files are recovered by this option, thus this option recovers all the text of the damaged file but in raw format. After scanning your corrupt Word file with this software, you can see its preview in three different formats ? ?Full Document?, ?Filtered Text?, and ?Raw Text? formats. These preview types are available according to the state of damage. For files with normal damage, you have full preview, i.e. you can see complete document with its original formatting. In the ?Filtered Text? format, you will see entire text of your document file but without any formatting i.e. plain text is seen in this format. On the other hand, the ?Raw Text? shows the content of the files as machine readable text format. The raw format is available for .doc files only. In addition, this software also lets you search your .doc or .docx file in your entire hard drive, hard drive volume, or any other folder of your system. With all these features, the tool generates the log report of complete Word file recovery process.
