| Release notes | Release highlights • Keep Only in iCloud for Large Files: An iCloud chip lists synced files that also take space on this Mac. Keep Only in iCloud removes the local copy, like Finder's Remove Download. The file stays in iCloud and downloads again when opened. • Large Files scans linked folders: A home folder moved to another drive and replaced with a link, such as Documents, is scanned where it really lives. Links into ~/Library, a drive's root or a network share are left alone. • The clean result screen says what happened: A clean where everything failed no longer shows a checkmark over 0 bytes. The items left behind sit in one open card, each with a reason and a Retry or Open Settings button. • Retry works for every kind of item: Retry goes back through the route that first tried the item, so Large Files, duplicates, AI models and uninstall leftovers can be retried. Items refused for safety are listed, not dropped. • Uninstalling a just-installed app from Finder works: Uninstall with Purge, the Dock icon and the Shortcuts action scan again for an app the list is missing. Safari and other links into the system count as Apple's apps. • Large Files starts on All: The category chip is no longer saved between launches, so a saved category with no rows can't show an empty list. The scan summary is shorter and drops the media library rows. • The Overview names both Large Files filters: The row reads "12 files over 1 GB not used in a year". When the scan found nothing, a Change filter button opens the Large Files tab.
