Product Details

My Flexible Dictaphone is a fully featured software based voice recording and variable playback system.
Its purpose is to adapt a traditional method of typing assistance to use on a computer. This gives people who don't want to find and correct typing errors made by voice recognition software a quick, easy, and efficient solution for their typing tasks.
There are two basic ways to use this software:
-Self dictation utility - users who don't know touch typing (typing without looking at the keyboard) can easily retype documents by recording themselves reading from the document first, then typing while listening to their dictation.
-Enhanced traditional dictaphone - the software can be used in the same ways as a traditional dictaphone, with the advantage that you have your dictation in the form of digital audio ready to be sent to a typist as an e-mail attachment.
My Flexible Dictaphone introduces pitch compensated variable playback technology which gives you the opportunity to adjust playback speed so that it corresponds to the users' typing skill and speed. You can record dictations or transfer recordings from portable dictation devices in up to 4 audio formats* : Dictation file (*.mfd), Wave (*.wav), MP3 (*.mp3), or Windows Media Audio (*.wma).
My Flexible Dictaphone is suitable for use along with any word processor. It has logical and convenient shortcut keys which are functional even when the window is not visible on the screen. Operations like Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast forward, Slow down, Speed up,Volume up, Volume down, are always accessible.
You can easily manage your audio recordings in just a few seconds. When saving your recordings you can decide between the best audio quality or the most compact audio file size. With the Pause and Resume functions you can append data onto a single dictation file. It is also possible to use the software to transfer your analog audio recordings such as LPs or music cassettes into digital formats such MP3 or WMA.
