Lepide Active Directory Self Service is an excellent web-based self-service password reset solution that allows its end users to carry out day-to-day account related tasks such as account unlock and password reset on their own. LADSS is equipped with GINA/CP functionality that allows its end users to have just one-click access to unlock account and reset password functionalities directly from the locked (CTRL+ALT+DEL) screen. LADSS gives instant notifications to both the end users and the administrators about password expiration and enrollment of users. In the updated version, the AD users will now get authenticated through their GUID and not with the usernames. Also, the issues of dual account display and dual login during remote desktop connections at CP machines has been resolved. The problem of reset password and unlock account link has also been addressed and the support of GINA/CP has been extended across all the desktop and server versions of windows. |
