About Heartwood

Heartwood is a private, open-source window into the health and fitness data stored
in Android's Health Connect. It only ever reads, nothing you see leaves your device,
and there are no accounts, ads, or trackers.

Features:

* Today dashboard, Material You cards for steps, heart rate, sleep, energy, distance,
exercise, SpO2, weight, blood pressure and more, each with an at-a-glance sparkline.
Long-press to rearrange or hide cards right on the grid.
* Detail views, tap any metric for a full chart, statistics and recent records.
* Weekly summary, daily averages measured against goals you set, with progress rings,
goal lines and week-over-week trends. Tap a bar to see that day's value.
* Home-screen widgets, your key numbers, themed to match your wallpaper.
* Export, save your accessible data to a CSV or JSON file at any time.

Heartwood reads data through Health Connect, so it works alongside whatever apps and
wearables already write there. You stay in control of exactly which data types it can
read, and can change or revoke access at any time from Health Connect.

Release notes New
• Android 9 and 10 support. Heartwood now runs on Android 9+ (previously 11+).
• Edit the dashboard in place. Long-press any card on Today to rearrange or hide cards right on the grid. Hidden cards stay visible as dimmed tiles in edit mode.
• Goal lines on Summary charts, so you can see which days hit your goal.
• Tap a bar on a Summary chart to see that day's exact value and how it compares with your goal.
• Per-app language setting on Android 13+, and the app is ready for translations. Help translate on Codeberg Translate.

Fixes
• Exports now include all records, not just the first 1,000 (#21).
• Sleep is dated by the day you wake up, and split sessions in one night add up.
• Dates and times follow your locale and 12/24-hour setting.
• Permission setup no longer skips steps.
• Opening Health Connect from Settings works on Android 14+.
• The metric widget shows the metric you picked straight away.
• Removed a leftover network-state permission.
