Hardware Inspector Client/Server is an indispensable software for IT automation: computer hardware and software inventory. It features close follow-up of all assets: purchase and installation data, history of transfers and servicing, warranty period, maintenance and retirement. Users can filter assets by various parameters with the help of highly-tailored search tools. The program comes with a large number of built-in reports, which can be modified with the Visual Report Designer.
Hardware Inspector Client/Server provides a single information space for branch offices. Client/server technology ensures high speed and damage safety: semaphore system, traffic compression, data caching, etc. The solution has proven high data safety. Access permission can be restricted at several levels: access to the database, workplaces tree nodes, device types, and various program features. Such flexibility allows any security policy.
Hardware Inspector Client/Server has multiple inventory options: work with a barcode scanner, reports on inventory session progress and results, the program module for off-line inventory sessions, barcode label templates, etc. The solution flexibility allows to use the program for inventory of any assets.
Another useful feature is automated computer audit, which can check on deviations in computer configurations. Depending on audit results, users can either import new devices or transfer missing ones. Customizable tree view allows users to audit particular parameters.
Hardware Inspector Client/Server has a multi-functional Service Desk. It features automated delegation of responsibilities, close follow-up of user requests, close integration with asset data, links from performed services to maintenance history, notifications about changes in requests, message history, etc. The program is compatible with Hardware Inspector Service Desk, a web-interface for user-supporter communication.
