Hardware Inspector is a handy solution for computer hardware and software inventory. Each asset acquires its individual specification: installation data, warranty and accounting data, retirement, etc. Data is presented in tree view with several nesting levels. The program features powerful tools to search for devices, licenses, expendables and custom data. It has an extensive variety of report templates, and Visual Designer to customize built-in reports and create new ones.
Hardware Inspector is ready for full-scale inventory sessions: barcode scanner support, inventory with and without access to the database, efficient restriction policy, instant reports on inventory progress and results, templates for printing barcode labels.
Hardware Inspector can function as an advanced Service Desk: automated assignment of responsible persons, multiple customizable parameters to categorize the flow of user requests and close follow-up of all requests. It has a number of features to assist the efficient support management: multilevel delegation of access rights, multicriterion search tool, integration with hardware and software database. Users can easily make reports on asset maintenance and IT team performance. Moreover, Hardware Inspector can be integrated with Hardware Inspector Service Desk, which is a web interface for user-supporter communication.
Hardware Inspector has several levels of access restriction, which can guarantee data security: access to the database, program features, departments and workplaces tree nodes, device types.
