About GPU-Viewer

This application aims to capture all the important details of glxinfo, vulkaninfo and clinfo in a GUI. The project is being developed using python 3 pygobject with GTK4. All the important details are extracted using glxinfo/vulkaninfo/clinfo with the combination of grep, CAT , AWK commands and displayed in the front-end. There is no hard OpenGL Programming involved, until glxinfo, vulkaninfo and clinfo works the GPU-viewer will also work.

• Added a GPU-Z-style view with:
• Graphics Card specifications
• Real-time sensor monitoring
• System information
• Sparkline graphs
• Multi-GPU switching
• Added network download and upload metrics to the real-time performance dashboard.
• Expanded GPU hardware cards with vendor, device, PCI, BIOS, memory, clock, architecture, and GPU identification details.
• Added GPU database support for detailed hardware specifications.

Dashboard Improvements
• Cards now use hardware and subsystem discovery order instead of custom reordering.
• Removed the dashboard card reorder control.
• Copy buttons appear when hovering over dashboard property rows and remain clickable.
• Returning from GPU-Z view restores the dashboard window dimensions correctly.
• Dashboard cards, pop-out windows, and live statistics now synchronize more consistently.
• Improved dashboard compatibility across GTK4 layouts.

GPU-Z View Improvements
• Added switching between GPU-Z and dashboard modes.
• Added automatic GPU selection and live sensor updates.
• The GPU selector is hidden when viewing the System page.
• Improved window sizing and mode transitions.
• Added support for saving the selected view mode between sessions.

Other Improvements
• Updated application branding and version information.
• Improved system, GPU, sensor, and hardware data parsing.
• Improved handling of different AMD, NVIDIA, and Intel GPU configurations.
• Improved performance and stability of dashboard refresh operations.
