- editor: minimap (Settings -> Features, or 'Toggle minimap') -- a zoomed-out strip of the file with a slider over the visible part; click or drag to scroll. Also 'Window: Toggle always on top' (bb780d7)
- github: pull requests, workflow runs and issues from the palette via the gh CLI -- check out / diff / checks / merge a PR, read a failed run's log, re-run, watch or cancel it, start a branch for an issue (3d721d5)
- terminal: inline images -- Sixel and the iTerm2 image protocol (img2sixel, chafa, imgcat, plotting libraries) via the xterm image addon; Settings -> Features -> Inline images (a4f5c56)
- window: global show / hide hotkey -- a system-wide key combination brings Gear forward from any app, or hides it when it is already in front (drop-down terminal). Settings -> Features, or 'Window: Set the global show / hide hotkey...' (9260ab7)
Bug Fixes
- editor: opening a file at a line works when the file was not open yet -- the jump ran before the editor view existed and was dropped; also py-spy follows child processes so a Windows virtualenv's launcher can be profiled (c6afa69)
- editor: sticky scroll works again and the rainbow toggles apply at once -- sticky scroll read the layout during an editor update, which crashed its plugin; the bracket and indent colours waited for the next keystroke (a9fc40c)
- editor: text commands no longer edit a hidden tab -- with a Markdown preview or another non-editor tab in front they changed the last-used file out of sight; they now say to switch to the editor tab (7d3d2b5)
- git: 'Apply patch from clipboard' accepts clipboard text with Windows line endings (9f05462)
- github: strip the caret-notation colour codes gh writes into piped run logs (5492d82)
- git: quote arguments that contain a comma -- PowerShell split 'log -L5,9:file' in two, so 'History of the selected lines' always failed on Windows (2b692c5)
- git: stage / unstage / discard selected lines on files with Windows line endings -- the saved-file check...
