With DisCatalog you can catalog all your disks regardless of which kind of storage medium: hard disks, CDs, DVDs, MP3, digital cards like cards in digital cameras etc. DisCatalog assists you to keep track of all your disks and to find really quickly files, music or videos. Catalog a preview of every file: contents of Word-, Excel-files (e.g. doc, xls), thumbnails of pictures and photos (e.g. jpg), ID3-Tags of MP3-files. These previews are included by the search function. DisCatalog shows you the exact disk and depository where you find a file. Get all title information of Music-CDs and Video-DVDs straight from Online-databases while cataloging. For a better overview separate the whole catalog into different categories or use the File-Filter. Some categories and filters are already fixed, however you can create custom categories and filters. You can take notes to every disk, folder or each single file. Export your catalog or parts of it in different file-formats like Word, Excel, Text tabs separated, PDF, Rich Text or print lists and overviews. Backup and Restore prevents you to loose cataloged data. DisCatalog is network compatible and you can share the catalog database with further computers.
