Cropel is a tool to monitor storage devices. Based on the SMART data, Cropel warns about imminent failure, predicts a device failure, displays a history and frequency of SMART values. When trial expires Cropel works as usual but stops predicting.

Lowvel is a free tool to erase data from storage devices irreversibly. The tool overwrites data stored on the device with zeroes. Lowvel is also used to force a device to reallocate bad sectors, or improve write performance of an SSD without TRIM.
