About Typst IDE
Typst IDE is a local editor for Typst, rebuilt with Tauri and Rust.
Documents stay on your own machine: no account, no cloud, no browser.
Features include:
• Live preview rendered by the same compiler as Typst.app
• Click in the preview to jump to the matching source position
• Preview automatically follows the editor cursor
• Project file manager with drag & drop, imports and images
• Markers (TODO, FIXME, …) highlighted in the editor, with a marker book
• Global and per-project notes, templates, history
• PDF export, bibliography helpers, configuration import/export

Themes o Themes are JSON files stored in the themes/ config folder. default.json ships with both light and dark palettes, user themes can define one or both variants. o Help > Change theme lists the themes with their light/dark variants. A missing variant is disabled. Help > Open themes folder opens the folder in the file manager, and Reload re-reads it after editing a file. o The active theme path and variant are persisted, so the selection survives restarts. The old generated theme.json is no longer used. o schemas/theme.schema.json documents the JSON format for completion and validation in JSON editors. o The current theme is included in the configuration export (Settings section) and restored on import when the target theme file does not already exist. Application identity o New identifier : the Tauri identifier is now io.github.gnoooo.typst-ide instead of com.typst.ide, to match the Flathub application ID. The app data/config directories change accordingly. o Automatic migration : on first launch, if the old directory exists and contains files, the app copies its contents to the new directory. The migration runs once, never overwrites non-empty destination files, and keeps the old directory as a backup. o Linux: ~/.config/com.typst.ide -> ~/.config/io.github.gnoooo.typst-ide o Linux: ~/.local/share/com.typst.ide -> ~/.local/share/io.github.gnoooo.typst-ide o Flatpak: ~/.var/app/io.github.gnoooo.typst-ide/config/com.typst.ide ->... |
