> macOS users: install this release by hand once. This release is signed with a new Apple Developer ID, so Restfox 0.40.0 and older can't update itself to it, and it won't tell you. Download it once from the assets below (Restfox-darwin-arm64 for Apple Silicon, Restfox-darwin-x64 for Intel). If you installed with Homebrew, run brew upgrade --greedy restfox instead. Updates after this one install automatically again.

> Desktop app: don't go back to 0.40.0 or older. Once you've opened this release, an older version deletes your workspaces and requests when it starts. If you must go back, first click Backup & Restore on the workspaces screen and download a backup, then restore it in the older version. File workspaces stay on disk either way and can be reopened with Open File Workspace.

What's New
• Collection Runner: run the requests of a folder or collection in order (#98)
• Prompt tag: ask for a value when a request is sent, in any field or environment variable. It can ask on every send or once per session, and hide what you type. A hidden value is never saved, not even in response history (#313, #344)
• Proxy in the desktop app and web-standalone: Settings > Proxy with System (the default, follows the system's proxy settings), Off and Custom (http, https or socks5, with login and a bypass list). It covers requests, scripts, WebSocket and Socket.IO (#181)
• CA Certificates in the desktop app and web-standalone: trust an extra certificate file, and the app now also trusts your operating system's certificates. This fixes "self signed certificate in certificate chain" behind company proxies like Netskope (#329)
• OAuth 2.0: Authorization Code with PKCE (#298), a Client Authentication option to send the client credentials as a Basic Auth header or in the body (#294), a token Prefix field, and clear error messages when getting a token fails
