Release notes openOMSI 0.3.45

> Early release, expect bugs. openOMSI needs an original OMSI 2 installation to run; it contains no game content.

Changes since 0.3.44:
• The cab's steering wheel turns as far as yours (*Cab wheel rotation*, in the launcher's
Settings › Driving › Game controllers and in the game's Options; cab_wheel_rotation): the
wheel model in the cab turns the set degrees lock to lock, 180° to 1800°, so a 900° or 1080°
wheel on the desk and the one in the bus move alike. *Automatic* (0, the default) keeps the
bus's own animation, as before. A bus that turns its wheel from a script of its own keeps its
own rotation.
Controls
• Force feedback can be tuned per wheel: under *Fine tuning*, next to *Steering force* and
*Vibration*, a wheel has its own *Self-centring* (0-200 %: how strongly the moving bus turns
it back to straight; it never pulls at a standstill), *Damping* (0-300 %: a released wheel
settles at the centre instead of swinging past it), *Parking resistance* (0-200 %: how heavy
it is while the bus stands or crawls), *Minimum force* (0-20 %: lifts the smallest forces
past the dead centre of belt and gear wheels; 0 on direct drive) and *Smoothing* (0-50 ms:
softens grainy steps on strong wheels at low frame rates), with Reset tuning to go back.
They are on the launcher's Game controllers page and in the device's *Force feedback* tab of
the game's controller menu, where a change applies at once, and are kept in gamectrler.cfg
under [openOMSI.FFTuning], which OMSI 2 ignores. The defaults keep today's feel, and a wheel
left at them is saved without the section
(#2103,
#3289).

Fixes
• Train cars that run their own scripts take the paint's variables and the cables' signals. A tram's second car, whose script is its own (the Konstal 105Na), started with the script's defaults and never got the paint's [setvar]s, so its destination boards, number plates and roof parts were missing in every livery but the plainest (#3343). It now wears the paint of the car in…
