About Happ

Platform for building proxies to bypass network restrictions
Release info Update on Oct 27, 2026
Release notes • Improved: changing the SOCKS or HTTP port while connected now shows a notice that the change applies after reconnecting, and the port fields only accept usable port numbers
• Improved: the Alternative HWID setting a subscription turns on now works without Premium, including when it comes in the subscription link
• Improved geo file downloads: files that already downloaded are kept when another one fails, a failed file is downloaded again on the next update, and broken or incomplete files are rejected instead of being used
• Improved subscription updates after waking from sleep: Happ now waits for the network to come back and retries updates that get no response
• Improved the connection core by updating Xray to version 26.10.21, including support for the new "exp" noise type
• Added a geo file download manager: a banner on the main screen shows ongoing and failed geo file downloads, with progress for each file, a Retry button and a shortcut to the routing profile
• Fixed: apps like Telegram found no proxy on a changed SOCKS or HTTP port with servers whose subscription provides a ready-made configuration
• Fixed: subscriptions that use fragmentation could fail to update when the local proxy port had been changed
• Fixed the Happ service failing to install on some Windows PCs with outdated system libraries
• Fixed sing-box and Xray TUN failing to start when IPv6 is turned off in Windows
• Fixed Proxy mode losing its connection after the computer wakes from sleep
• Fixed Xray TUN on macOS failing to connect when the Mac is on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi
• Fixed Xray TUN with some provider configs sending traffic the wrong way or not starting in per-app mode
• Fixed Happ not starting under Wayland on recent Linux distributions
• Fixed tun2proxy on Linux staying active with its network settings after quitting Happ when TUN was turned off while connected
• Fixed the happ://open link not starting the connection
• Fixed routing profile links added through the "+" dialog not…
