AuI ConverteR 48x44 1.2.1.0

Professional high-precision sample rate converter for lossless audio files. Recommended for pro recording studios and exacting audiophiles.

Advantages

1. Low losses of quality at conversion. Accurate algorithm of sampling rates conversion, used in AuI ConverteR 48x44, has allowed to reduce level of conversion noise (artifacts) to -140 dB (24-bit and more samples).

That's below a theoretical limit of noises for 16-bit samples of compact disk (16 bits multiplied at minus 6 dB/bit = -96 dB) and below noises analog-digital convertors of 24-bit soundcards (above -120 dB).

2. Signal level automatic scaling at reduction of bit per sample (as example, input=24 to output=16 bit per sample).

3. Double precision (64-bit float) algorithms used for calculations.

4. Handling multichannel files.

Specification

1. Format of input files (FLAC, not compressed WAV, AIFF)

1.1. Sampling rates - 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192 kHz.

1.2. The support of multichannel audiofiles - yes.

1.3. Bit-depth
* FLAC, AIFF, WAV - 16, 24;
* WAV - 32 float, 64 float.

2. Format of output files (not compressed WAV)

2.1. Sampling rates - 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192 kHz.

2.2. The amount of channels - as input file.

2.3. Bit-depth (select by user):
* FLAC, AIFF, WAV - 16, 24;
* WAV - 32 float, 64 float.

3. Level of conversion noise (artifacts) at 20...20500 Hz, better than: -140 dB.

Remarks: level noise of output file depends on bit per sample of input and output files. Level of conversion noise equal -140 dB is reached at bit per sample not less than 24 bits, or 32 and 64-bit float.

4. Dither (flat) - yes.

Free version limitation:

1. Batch processing group of files - no.

2. Application is closed after conversion of one file.

3. Multiple start not allowed.

4. Multi CPU/cores support - no.
