Sourdough Journal 2.2

Sourdough Journal is a serious baking log for tracking starters, formulas, fermentation, and bake results in one place.

Track multiple starters with separate feed history, reminders, analytics, and room-temperature or refrigerated care modes. Log every feeding with flour, water, starter kept, flour type, rise, peak time, ambient temperature, and notes so you can see what actually improves performance.

Build formulas with clear baker's percentage math:
- hydration, scaling, and starter-feeding calculators
- total flour, total water, levain weight, and levain hydration
- automatic split between total formula values and mix-in values
- reusable recipe templates and bake-again workflows

Capture the full bake, not just the recipe:
- autolyse, mix, folds, bulk, shaping, proofing, retard, and bake timeline
- oven settings, steam method, and covered versus uncovered timing
- notes for crumb, crust, flavor, oven spring, ear, spread, and what to change next time
- bake photos, side-by-side comparisons, and searchable history

Built for real sourdough workflows:
- multi-starter support with select, archive, and delete flows
- per-starter dashboards, feed logs, bake logs, and reminders
- full backup and restore, including photos
- plain-language explanations for hydration, levain, inoculation, proofing, and more

Whether you are nurturing your first starter or refining a formula you have baked ten times, Sourdough Journal gives you the structure of a serious bread notebook without the mess of scattered notes and spreadsheets.
