About SceneDeck

Turn your Android phone or tablet into an OBS Studio remote control deck.

SCENES
Switch scenes from a numbered grid, search your scene collection, and curate a personal Deck. Use Studio Mode to choose a preview scene and control transitions.

MIXER
Adjust audio levels, watch live meters, mute channels, and lock controls to prevent accidental changes.

OUTPUTS AND STATS
Control streaming, recording and the virtual camera. See live output timers and monitor FPS, bitrate, dropped frames, CPU usage and render time.

YOUR SETUP
Save connection profiles, choose light or dark themes, and adjust motion and confirmation settings. The standard Play/GitHub build also supports OBS connection QR codes; the F-Droid build uses manual connection entry. Optional widgets and background connection support keep useful controls close at hand.

Scene curation stays on your device and does not modify the OBS scene collection.

REQUIREMENTS
Android 9 or later and OBS Studio 28 or later on your computer. Enable the OBS WebSocket server and connect your device to a network that can reach it. SceneDeck controls OBS on your computer; it does not replace OBS Studio or broadcast video directly from your phone.

SceneDeck is an independent open-source project and is not affiliated with the OBS Project.

Release notes SceneDeck 0.2.2

SceneDeck adds a full operator workflow and more ways to personalize your control surface.

Added
• Workspace-specific named decks, local scene labels and preview freshness indicators.
• Optional Preflight checks and sustained live alerts, including deliberately armed microphone monitoring.
• Recording pause/resume and supported split/chapter tools, local timestamp bookmarks,
and media progress/seeking in Mixer.
• Offline local History and JSON export with explicit gaps and unknown outcomes.
• Guarded multi-action presets with preparation, concrete output consent, cancellation
and recorded results. Presets are invoked individually.
• Configurable foreground keyboard and compatible foot-pedal bindings.
• An isolated offline demo for practicing without changing real OBS connections or local data.
• Adaptive tablet Scenes and Mixer layouts, with retained state during resizing.
• Ocean, Rosewood, Amber and Paper palettes, bringing the fixed palette count to 15.
• Six accent choices and optional True black dark backgrounds, with preview, Apply,
Cancel and Reset defaults. High Contrast and broadcast status colors preserve their roles.

Reliability and compatibility
• Patched Guava for CVE-2026-102554 with separate JRE build-tool and Android runtime minima.
• CI retains every Detekt module report in bounded uploads and synchronizes Stats telemetry assertions.
• Scoped persistence preserves existing curation; previous global curation remains available
through explicit recovery. App organization and labels remain local to the device.
• Deferred actions retain their originating connection/collection. Timed-out writes are
never retried automatically, and interrupted presets are never resumed automatically.
• Normal builds retain QR pairing. F-Droid source builds retain manual connections and
the same operator/theming features without proprietary QR dependencies.
• Replay Buffer and Show rundown/cue scheduling remain excluded.

Verification
• 1,169 local…
