Impact Reel 1.0

RECORD THE SESSION. KEEP THE SWINGS.
Tap Record a session and hit balls. Impact Reel films with the back camera at the highest frame rate your iPhone supports (for example 1080p at 240 fps on recent iPhones), with sound, then listens for each ball strike and cuts one clip around every swing. Already filmed a range video? Choose it from Photos instead. Likely swings come first; uncertain ones wait in their own tab, so nothing is lost. Everything stays on your iPhone: no account, no subscription.

IF YOU FILM YOUR RANGE SESSIONS AND NEVER WATCH THEM
Finding the swings in a long video is the reason most people stop filming, and a separate clip for every ball slows your practice. Record the whole session once then load your video and start watching right away. Skip the hits you don't want, save the rest to a Photos album for the session.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO GOLF AND SHORT ON TIME
Watching your own swing is one of the fastest ways to improve, but nobody wants to scrub through a whole session. Every swing is already a picture in the list. Tap one, step through it frame by frame, slow it down, or put lines on it. Make a Swing Sequence to show your friends or coach.

ADD A TRACER IN A FEW STEPS
Mark the ball at address, two frames just after impact, the apex and the landing, and the tracer follows the flight. Choose a line, a highlight or a follow trail, and nudge any point with the arrows.

IF YOU ARE LEARNING YOUR OWN SWING, OR HELPING SOMEONE ELSE'S
Mark up your practice video without learning a complicated tool. Ready-made lines for the shaft start, the feet and the head ring, a vertical line, and lines of your own with color, width and line ends; apply them to every clip in a session. Add a note to any swing, star the ones worth keeping, and see the change over weeks in your Saved Swings. Left-handed? Every menu swaps sides.

SAVE IT. SEND IT.
Save a clip plain, with its markup, or as a replay that plays clean and then again with the lines. A plain clip is cut straight from your video with no re-encoding: full quality and resolution.

PRIVATE, AND PAID ONCE
Your video is processed on your iPhone. No account, no ads, no tracking, nothing uploaded. One purchase, every feature included, no subscription.

Lines and tracers are visual aids, not measurements. Swings are found by hearing the strike, so it works best with video filmed close to the golfer. You review every clip before it is saved.
