Horror Hours 1.0.11

Fall asleep to horror stories.

Hundreds of narrated horror stories, made for bed with the lights off. No jump scares, no ads, and a sleep timer that fades you out instead of snapping to silence.

Horror Hours is a horror story app built for the one time you actually listen to them — in the dark, in bed, with the lights off.

Every story is narrated and cut into chapters, so you always know where you are and can pick up exactly where you drifted off. Hundreds of tales, from creeping small-town dread to cosmic deep-water horror, read by voices that know how to hold a room at 2 a.m.

THE PART no other horror app gets right: sleep.
Turn on Sleep Mode and the whole app changes. Stories are mastered flat — no sudden loud stings, no jump scares to yank you awake. The screen dims and warms so the last thing you see isn't a wall of blue light. Set a timer and the story fades gently into a bed of ambience instead of snapping to silence.

Build the room you want to fall asleep in. Layer rain on a tin roof, a distant thunderstorm, a fire, wind across a field — as many as you like, each at its own level, all running under the story at once. Speed only ever touches the narration; the rain never speeds up.

"Continue the night" keeps you going. When a story ends and you're still awake, the next one queues itself by mood and category, shorter as the night gets later, sleep-safe when you're in Sleep Mode. A single tap can turn one story into eight hours.
